Gluten Free Broccoli & Cheddar Quiche

6 Eggs
3/4 pack frozen broccoli florets
1/2 cup heavy cream (or almond, hemp or other)
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon butter
1 sweet onion
gluten free frozen pie crust (or regular)
garlic powder, sea salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
1)melt butter in pan. add onions and sauté for 4 minutes.
2)add broccoli to onion and cook until warm, but still crunchy
3)break up broccoli in pan as cooking with utensil, add s&p and
a dusting of garlic powder. Let cool
4)as broccoli is cooking, crack eggs into a bowl and whisk
5)whisk in milk/cream
6)add broccoli/onion/cheese to eggs
7)pour into pie crust
cook 45-50 minutes until golden brown. Check at 40 minutes since all ovens vary.
serve with green salad. I served with a kale salad w/cranberries.
